I’m someone who spent a good chunk of their childhood moving from place to place.
Stories became an integral part of not only how I coped with change, but made me who I am. Providing me with escapism, comfort, and even helping me interpret my own emotions and learn how to navigate my differences.
On this site, you’ll find the things I’ve done, creatively, so far.
Who am I?
A little about my origins. My parents are Czech, making me also Czech. However, I spent my entire childhood growing up in this limbo between Dubai and Moscow thanks to mayhap the most bizarre case of joint custody.
Yes, I know. Complicated.
To say the least moving between two places on entirely different continents isn’t the most conducive to making friends as a kid. So, I found stories. Through books, yes, but also those in movies, videos, and most of all through video games. They helped me stay afloat when loneliness got me down.
Stories ended up saving me. Going through a story seemed to always help me find out more about myself. They taught me how to navigate the complex and often ugly, yet beautiful world we live in.
That’s when I found what I wanted to do. I wanted to create stories. So, feel free to take a look at what I’ve worked on so far.
